Products retiring

 

On April 12, 2016 the following products will NO longer be supported:

  • SQL Server 2005
  • .Net Framework 2.0
  • System Center Data Protection Manager 2006
  • Visual Studio 2005
  • Dynamics CRM 3.0
  • Windows Embedded for Point of Service

 

On July 12, 2016 the following products will NO longer be supported:

  • BizTalk Server 2006
  • BizTalk Server 2006 R2
  • Commerce Server 2007
  • Visual Studio Team Foundation Server 2005

 

On October 11, 2016 the following products will NO longer be supported:

  • Dynamics AX 4.0

 

On January 10, 2017 the following products will NO longer be supported:

  • ISA Server 2006
  • System Center Virtual Machine Manager 2007

 

On April 11, 2017 the following products will NO longer be supported:

  • Windows Vista
  • Exchange Server 2007
  • Host Integration Server 2006
  • Dynamics NAV 5.0

Service Packs retiring

On July 12, 2016 the following Service Packs will NO longer be supported:

  • SQL Server 2014 RTM
  • SCCM 2012 R2 RTM
  • Dynamics CRM 2013 RTM
  • Dynamics SL 2011 SP2

 

On October 11, 2016 the following Service Packs will NO longer be supported:

  • Visual Studio 2012 SP1
  • Visual Studio 2013 RTM

 

On January 10, 2017 the following Service Packs will NO longer be supported:

  • SQL Server 2012 SP2

Products transitioning to Extended Support

 

On April 12, 2016 the following products will enter the Extended Support phase:

  • Lync Server 2010
  • Windows Embedded Compact 7
  • Enterprise Desktop Virtualization (MED-V) 2.0

 

On July 12, 2016 the following products will enter the Extended Support phase:

  • SQL Server Compact 4.0
  • Dynamics SL 2011
  • Dynamics CRM 2011

 

On October 11, 2016 the following products will enter the Extended Support phase:

 

  • Windows Embedded POSReady 7
  • Diagnostics and Recovery Toolset (DART) 7

On January 10, 2017 the following products will enter the Extended Support phase:

On April 11, 2017 the following products will enter the Extended Support phase:

During the Extended Support phase, security fixes are STILL available. However, an Extended Hotfix Support Agreement (EHSA) is REQUIRED to be able to request non-security related hotfixes.
